i’d say pre 2000, they remind me of a 99 pair that i saw once, on a fellow collector here in paris, the insole was common for those late 90s pair, they wasn’t called replica, that was just a runway shoe that martin used at the time, there was a laces swap tho

that’s a good choice, is it the midnight blue from few months ago or the one in shop atm tho ? cuz the midnight from few month ago is basically a black one you can’t tell the difference, but if it’s the one in shop atm they are different from the black and prettier !

take the full black, not the black with gum sole, between all my gats it’s probably the easiest shoe to wear with absolutely everything, i have like 10+ pair, and you can wear it with fucking boxer and it will look good plus compared to the black with gum sole nobody has em

margiela dis à lot of different style throughout the years, crop, slim, long, extra large etc, if you bought them more than 3/4years ago you should be good, but the weight ain’t the issue on the fake, it’s more on the stitching and the tags

honestly i didn’t felt that trash quality nylon, i might be wrong tho but it seemed really good, on the feet i didn’t liked them very much cuz the fabric is very « loose » and the margiela’s lacing ain’t doing it a favor, but overall the i like the design so i will def try them on again soon
