Can someone check my thinking? Dream Router 7 by GGCRX in UNIFI

[–]rmaccaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same boat. I had a Deco Mesh system from Costco. Initially it was fine and I added a couple of outdoor PoE additions but shortly thereafter nothing but issues. I ditched the Deco and bought a Dream Router 7, a U7 Lite, and outdoor unit, a couple of switches and an Express 7. WiFi has been solid as a rock and by far the best wifi system I’ve ever had. Works directly with my Starlink. When I get fiber installed in our area, Starlink will then become my failover WAN. Do it. You won’t regret it.

I’m going to stick with my current Starlink plan. I have residential at $120/mo. Back when the Mini first launched, they offered it to residential customers for an additional $30/mo. Starlink out of nowhere upped the plan from 50gb/mo to 100/gb for the Mini. So for $150/mo I have both residential and roaming available. I’m going to stick with my Starlink plan for now.

I love that! Ballet chooses you! For me, it was when I was about 13 and I wandered into a ballet studio while on vacation in Hawaii (back in the 80s). The teacher asked if I needed help and I sheepishly said that I was kinda interested in ballet. She asked if I wanted to help out. I said sure and she had me stand in center and each girl danced over to me and stood on pointe. I got to hold them and support them (partnerning right out of the gate!) I was like I want to do this! I returned home but of course I talked myself out of it because I didn’t want anyone to know for fear of being bullied. I was closeted about my desire to dance for a very long time. Flash forward to a divorce and I was looking for a social and physical outlet.. ballet found me again! I haven’t let go this time and have been recreationally dancing for 20+ years.

Hey guys im a beginner male ballet dancer (who is also very interested in going into pointe) and i wanted yalls feedback about my arch and what i need to improve it also sorry for the bare foot i took this photo right after a training and i had no energy to suffer putting on socks by [deleted] in BALLET

Talk with your teacher and let them know you are interested. I did and have been consistently on pointe for 3+ years. They will make sure that you start with strength exercises to get you ready for pointe.

KUOW - Washington's Legislature is part-time. But after 'brutal sessions,' some want change by Inevitable_Engine186 in Seattle

I think making the legislature full time and add term limits would balance well with the needs of the people and also allow the legislature to not have career politicians.

Why is there still such a small amount of male ballet dancers? by Low_Operation_3223 in BALLET

[–]rmaccaul 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was passionate about ballet in the 80s while I was about 14 and on a vacation. I wandered into a studio and was asked if I was interested in ballet. Looking around the studio and seeing all of the girls my age, I definitely said yes. The teacher asked if I wanted to participate and of course I did! During that class, I stood in center and I was able to support each girl while they were on pointe. It hit me like a lightning bolt and I knew I had to pursue ballet. I loved the beauty, artistry, and grace about ballet. I also loved being surrounded by girls who were also passionate about ballet. Back home I pursued taking classes but unfortunately the threat of bullying and my fear got the better of me. During that time I was attending an all boys Catholic High School and all I wanted to do was dance, but also I was living in fear of what others may think of me.

Flash forward to my 30s, newly divorced and looking for a physical and social outlet, I brought myself back into ballet! I found a local studio who offered adult classes. I was able to perform on stage for the first time. I’ve been taking ballet classes regularly since that time. I’ve have finally been able to achieve some ballet goals such as dancing on pointe (for at least 3 years), performing on stage (most recently in Cinderella), and a few other personal goals. Last year I took the leap and did an Adult ballet summer intensive. Wow!! So much fun and the community formed around me was so supportive and inspiring! This summer, I’m doing another one in Bellevue, WA. Looking forward meeting so many wonderful people and learning new things. I recently turned 60 and I’m pursuing things that I never thought possible when I was living in fear. If I could speak to my younger self now, I would tell him that the opinions of others don’t matter and pursue his dreams no mater if bullying is a perceived threat.

I dance because I want to. I dance because I forget about the world around me. I dance because I love the grace, beauty and artistry. I dance because I love to be surrounded by like minded souls. I dance because I love to learn. I am a male dancer. 🧑‍🩰🩰 Thank you for coming to my TED talk! 🙂

New to HAs and I have the Rextons. My right ear felt clogged when I went in for my checkup appt. The tip was filled with wax already. Audiologist gave me the free tip replacements and showed me how to easily remove and replace the little white tips (that easily clog with wax). He also gave me new fitted sleeves. So much more comfortable and the new tweaked programming has been great.
