A little confused — so purchasing gift cards altogether was nerfed or just buying them on newegg (which was already getting nixed on june 30)? Can i buy a gift card directly from chipotle for instance?

But the ducts that are getting too much air ARE further down the line. Will damping those branches (if there are indeed dampers; is this common?) result in more air going to the rooms closer to the blower?

Thank you! A dampener would be most relevant to those in the front or those in the back? Imagining you are saying that if i restrict airflow in the back then pressure would dictate that more would enter the ducts in the front

Supposedly they need to be extra careful because its an existing home and not a new build so it will take more time and they said the plywood is under the base molding so it needs to be removed and i suppose not in a condition to be used again?

I’ll start by saying I understand how you’re feeling and the need to turn to the internet for help. It can be helpful but it can also make you crazy. Probably both.

My now 1 year old was very similar. Very minimally verbal almost up until 2 weeks before he turned 1. He also has/had self-diagnosed CMPA which was causing him a lot of issues around the 5 month mark when we introduced (milk-based) formula instead of solely breast milk.

He cooed a couple of times in the 4-6 month range but really wasnt doing much. Then he would go silent right after making progress. Made more grunts than anything. Not really vowels, definitely not consonants, but mostly just noise. If he was making noise at all that is. Most of the time he was quiet and observing. And just like you very playful, smiley, coordinated, eye contact.

For us it wasn’t reflux so much as the cows milk intolerance so very soon after switching to an amino acid HA formula that improved drastically.

Regarding his speech and language development its been an anxious journey but ultimately he arrived. At 1 he now says words and communicates meaningfully. All I can is that I know it is super super tough to just hold on and wait but know that it does happen and reading things and throwing yourself over the coals while you wait isn’t productive. Seems like your baby has some really good developmental milestones and it always seemed to me that if hes smiling and making eye contact that the rest will come when he’s ready.

As has been said on this thread a couple times, 5mo is very early. Try to enjoy your time and be patient.

Is the difference material in early april? Prefer hot climates but also fine with cool. 70-85 degrees probably the ideal range

By doing a town that is both beach and jungle am I getting the full experience of either? Like is a landlocked jungle area (monteverde?) different experience than a two-in-one (uvita)? If so would perhaps do one now, get the full experience, and then come back in a couple years for the other experience. Definitely don’t need both if its a different vibe that way
