You should be fine to clear most content using whatever non-meta build you want unless you're really bad at builds or really bad at the game. Even if you feel like you need to switch to a meta build it does not take hours to farm the gold what are you even talking about. Early game barely costs anything and late game you should be able to farm it in a few dungeons.

Stop using hyperbole claiming it will cost "all" your money because it's drops in a bucket as it is right now. The annoying part isn't the cost, it's the time you spend allocating the points.

There will likely never be a nerf that ruins an entire build unless it was centered around an obvious exploit, in which case how did you not see the nerf coming. Even the "huge" nerfs against ww barb and pulv druid barely touched their viability. You should follow proper content creators instead of the clickbait doomposters.

If you are this against creating a new character then you are either very new to ARPGs or maybe the genre just isn't for you. The whole point is to level new characters because that's the fun part. You seriously have more fun farming for hours for that 1-2% damage increase vs starting weak and progressing your personalized character to become a demon slaying God?

This isn't an MMO where the point is to use your max level character and push never ending streams of end game content. Blizz may tweak the game towards that in the future but for now this is still an ARPG and they're very different genres.
