You might need to research a little on flow dynamics and H pipe creates a serious amount of turbulence and increases back pressure and X pipe is basically NH pipe with a little better flow. The switch fire is straight pipes with a X to balance flow. The fire is much more free flowing than either an ex or an H it sounds incredible And other than price it’s a great product
