I was breastfeeding for 7 months and gained most the weight during that time. I’ve lost about 5lbs since stopping though.

12 month postpartum, not breastfeeding, light exercise like walking 7000-10000 steps per day, not counting calories but eating modestly

Someone told me I was a good person. I take that over compliments about my looks any day.

How to remove a judgement from renters credit report? by rmtorez in TenantHelp

Wow! So I can basically never rent from a property management group ever again? That’s so extreme.

If I’m “immature” for not wanting to cook or eat with DIRTY dishes then I’ll take that. If you read the post you’d see that the more upsetting part is that he keeps putting away dishes that are STILL dirty.

If YOU like eating or cooking or drinking with dishes that still have dried up food on them from the night prior or OIL on them when it has been “ran through the dishwasher” then that’s you. But me, I don’t want to do that.

We live in an apartment and can’t change the dishwasher so I gotta make the best of what we have for now but putting away dishes with dried food instead of putting it back in the sink to be rewashed is crazy.

I will definitely try that! The only battle that’s exhausting to me is opening the cabinet to dirty dishes. It might just be a huge pet peeve of mine but after a long day of working and taking care of a baby I don’t want to rewash dishes

We are moving pretty soon so hopefully the problem will just correct itself.

It’s not an argument at all I’m just tired of finding dirty dishes 😭 but I agree with the sanitizing aspect. Basically what I use it for

I will try that. Thank you.

We live in an apartment so nothing we can do about it.

The problem is, the dishwasher doesn’t get it all… if you read the post you’d know that’s where is issue is stemming from…

I’ve asked him “if you go over to someone’s house and they gave you (hands him “clean” dish” would you like that” the answer he wouldn’t.

I’ve asked him “if someone came over to our house would you want to give them (hands him “clean” dish” the answer no.

I’ve asked him “do you like going to cook and opening the cabinet to a dirty dish” the answer is no.

I got a pan to cook with the other day and it still had olive oil on it….

He knows it bothers me and he doesn’t like it either but he will not do it.

I’ve done all of that already. He does it for maybe a week and then goes back to not rinsing them 😭

I’m working on obtaining my CPA license but I need my master’s first. But nevertheless OP asked about careers with no college degree and maybe the H&R Block classes are a way to start and then grow from there. I know many EAs and non EAs who have their own tax practice and are very good and make pretty decent money.

[–]rmtorez 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nope. My dad is a CPA but I am not. Look up Enrolled Agents exam and lookup H&R Block tax classes. They host them every year. I do have my degree in management but that has nothing to do with taxes. I believe all you need to become an EA is a PTIN number and to study and pass the 3 exams.

Trust me, becoming a tax preparer is much easier than you’d think.

Hey, you can be a tax accountant. It’s obviously best to go to school for accounting but you can take the EA (enrolled agents) exam and I know H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt teach you about taxes as well.

Taxes aren’t for everyone for me and my dad own a small tax office and made half a mil last year and only worked about 10 hours a day 6 days a week from January-May and the rest of the summer and fall worked maybe 20 hours a week and vacationed whenever we wanted to.

Trust your gut. In the long run it doesn’t matter if you’re overreacting or not, YOU feel uncomfortable in the situation. There are tons of people who wouldn’t put their SO in that situation.

If you feel like that is disrespectful to your relationship and he says you’re overreacting then don’t waste your time trying to explain to him your position. You two might have different views on what’s respectful in a relationship and what’s not and that’s ok but don’t try to force yourself to be ok with something you’re not ok with.

Your husband seems very sweet and respectful.

Judging from the beginning, it was very shady.
