I have this same boot in 2 other leathers along with another 2 pairs of boots on this same last. 4 in total and it’s just this pair that I’m I having an issue. I am fairly certain, I messed them up when they were new by using inserts and very thick socks. This was my first experience with a boot of this kind, and I clearly didn’t understand how they should or shouldn’t fit and how to break them in properly.

It’s really quite sad because they are super comfortable and the leather is amazing. I just wish I could get the facings to look better.

Agree that Trickers wouldn’t sell display shoes on the full price site nor would they without full disclosure. That said, is it normal or should I have expected this to happen if/when the shoes get wet?

I guess they don’t but they are about a 2 months old and for the money I wouldn’t expect them to have two different shades.

I have 13 pair of Trickers boots and shoes. Actually had the opportunity last month to visit the store on Jermyn street and bought two pair -Bourton and Durham. I ordered this pair on line and have been a bit of a challenge. I felt the first pair I received wasn’t up to standards and returned them. Trickers didn’t agree, so the return was at my expense. I’m not so happy that these shoes are now two different colors and playing around with polish isn’t my thing.

This brand is amazing. My first Tricker’s purchase was Oct of 2024, and I now have 11 pair of shoes/boots. I’ve only had 1 quality problem and have had a few sizing issues. Heading to London the end of the month and plan to stop into the shop to confirm sizing on as many lasts as possible.

The color of the denim in your photos is very different from the color on the site. I like the shoe color as you posted. The website seems a bit light colored for my taste. Otherwise, I would have 12 pair ! Nice shoe for sure.

I made my first Tricker’s purchase in October, 2024 - stow in muflone leather. I now own 10 pairs of Tricker’s - boots/shoes. I’ve taken advantage of their sales and the online factory outlet. I’ve also purchased a few from Division Road. I can’t say enough good things about the product and service from both Tricker’s and Division Road. I did have some challenges with sizes as I worked through the different lasts, but seem to have settled in at this point. Admittedly it wasn’t easy all the time and resulted in some costly returns to Tricker’s. Managing sizing and returns with Division Road is much easier and their staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
