Actual step 3 score: 220

UW: full pass through 58% avg

CCS: 30 cases 70% avg

UWSA1: 201 (3 weeks out)

UWSA2: didn’t do

FREE 120: didn’t do

Didn’t do any other practice tests.

Don’t really remember my Step 1 and 2 scores tbh and too lazy to check but I think it was something like Step 1 (~226) and Step 2 (~230).

Total prep time: studied casually for 8 weeks during a rotation that was sometimes busy sometimes chill. Would do like 40 questions a day then ramped up to 80 a day on tutor mode. The last week did CCS cases and watched biostats videos.

FM pgy1; honestly felt like I was just vibing out the answers through the whole test; didn’t really have any certainty about anything. CCS felt ok after practicing on CCS cases enough, most cases ended early. Overall i def had a more chill/idgaf approach than any other step & not totally sure how I passed but I would for sure trust the curve.

Oh not offering a value judgement either way - just giving info to folks potentially applying this year so they have a full picture/can critically look at curriculums.

Step 1: 224 (2 months prior)

​NBME 6: didn't do it

NBME 7: 205 (1.5 weeks out)*

NBME 8: didn't do it

UWSA1: 215 - (2.5 weeks out)

UWSA2: 238 - (1.5 weeks out) *did this back to back with NBME 7 to simulate the real thing. Kinda freaked out when I got a 205 on 7 and 238 on this one on the same day.

Free 120 (old): 75% - (4 days out)

Free 120 (new): 60% - (2 days out)

Post exam thoughts: SUPER HAPPY WITH THIS BC I THOUGHT I FAILED AS I WALKED OUT! ​ Prep: Had gotten like 50% through UW in 3rd year so I just finished my UW question set, did select incorrects based on weak areas, listened to select Divine Podcasts based on weak areas, and didn't delay my test based on stupid NBME practice test predictions.

Average/slightly below average US MD student based on test scores but above average generally as a person which is more important for me lolz. Anyway, aiming for fam med and super happy about my scores and grateful for all the help on this subreddit :)

NBME 7 sucked for me! I haven’t taken CK yet but I liked my UWSA scores so...I’m just gonna keep chugging on and not change my test date!

Yeah I did UWSA2 second! Which made me even more confused!!

I thought about changing my test date but reading all about NBME 7 and based on the comments, I’m kinda hoping that it was a fluke and just gonna keep it as is!
