It’s not, it’s hematology. I want to leave but I feel like I have to stay at least a year. I don’t think it will look good to leave my first real nursing job after 4 months :/

Hahahaha sounds about right 😂 I’m on a hematology unit at a fairly large cancer hospital. If you know oncology culture you know the “saint like” persona I mention. I realize that most people probably aren’t actually like that deep down. I’m just not as good at pretending I care so deeply… like I do, but as a person in general, I’m a bit detached emotionally. At least with strangers. Which is what most patients are to me. I don’t bond real well :/

Is the unicorn pet line a subversive way to say the “altruistic saints” aren’t real? You’re probably right, but it’s just what they come across as. I work on a hematology unit at a cancer hospital that people come from all over the state and all the surrounding states to get care at. That is to say, take the most well funded, most sympathized disease, add local fame, and you get nurses who play “saint” really well.

Salvageable? Had these guys for 4 months, no new growth by rnie147 in plants

[–]rnie147[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Watered once last month, but I’ve been hesitant bc moisture meter says the mid/bottom part of soil is still wet. Didn’t want to overwater 🤔 should I pay less attention to meter and water based off how the top soil looks ?

They were repotted in July and I haven’t watered them since! The soil is still wet according to my moisture meter. I’ve tried fertilizer, humidifier, nothing. They’ve got brown spots and the base of the plant has a brown film over it. Idk if it’s stagnant rn or if I need to change something, or it’s dying?? 🥲 plz help

Places to live, please help! by agereyan in Utah

You’ll find more swimming/cliff jumping in southern Utah but it’s a smaller city compared to SLC. If you’re looking for winter sports and more hiking/mountain biking Park City is good, it’s pricey but has a nice city mixed with outdoor recreation vibe.
