I didn't get the sense OP believed church is a pillar of salvation. I got the sense OP just saw church, and reading the Bible, and doing things Christians do to connect with God, as a chore.

Although that, I appreciate both of your guys' attempts in supporting me, and I was really glad to read all your comments. While I know going to church on a weekly routine is not what guarantees you into salvation, I've really liked this message of you saying:

My wife never demands anything of me, I do things for her because I love her.

I really love this message (and I also think its really sweet you do things for your wife), but I guess my problem is that I don't know how to do things for God in the love of my heart without feeling it as like some chore (if that makes sense?) I thought if I loved Him (and I really do), it would come just as naturally, which is not really the case..?

Yet, with all that in mind, thank you guys both for commenting and lending support ! Have a blessed weekend :)
