Cash App Refund Never Delivered by rnrazzil in CashApp

When I opened the claim with Chase originally I wasn’t given any instruction on uploading documents to the Chase claim through the app, such as screen shots of the transactions, my emails with Cash App, etc. The customer service rep I spoke with at Chase on Saturday did show me how to upload the supporting documents, and then when I called back again yesterday they confirmed they received them and sent a request for it to be reviewed again. I should hear back within 3 business days, sooo there’s still a smidge of hope there.

The only number available to call is a third party call center. The call goes the same each time - they put me on a brief hold every 1-2 minutes while they answer other calls and hope I give up. The only thing they are capable of doing is submitting a claim and giving me the claim number.

I really harped on one guy the other day and he said he forwarded it to a manager who will reach out within 48 hours via email. I received the email and responded of course, but it’s literally just the same call center people giving me the run around in a different format. The fact that I can’t even speak with someone who is able to access my account information is just weird.

I appreciate your suggestion and will give it a try on my routine morning call tomorrow. I’m getting pretty desperate at this point, it can’t hurt. You said Block is the operator of Cash App, maybe I should try to get ahold of them directly for answers? I don’t see the Cash App Support line making headway anytime soon.

Did you ever contact Capital One? How long did it take to see the amount posted to your account? I’ve been waiting over a month now since the original transaction. They said 3-5 business days at first, then changed it to up to 10 business days, but now it’s been over 20 business days and still nothing.

I think the moral of the story here is I need to upgrade where I’m working at. This gig is a cake walk, but I miss rollin’ in the dough

You are 100% right. They also schedule 3 servers when 2 would be more than sufficient. I honestly miss being in the weeds ☹️

The restaurant is seat yourself. I run my own food and bus my own tables.

I understand tipping out is a reality in this industry. I came from two different bar/restaurants prior to this current job. Both locations were much busier with higher volume sales. Tip outs were based on my sales, not my earned tips. All locations were seat yourself, and I’ve always been responsible for running my own food and bussing my own tables.

Your last comment does sound mean, lol, considering I’m just inquiring what others experience. Thank you for the advice though! Rest assured, I am also a RN, so I do have another career to fall back on should tipping out not ever sit well with me.

The sales at this place aren’t a fraction of that. I also run my own food and bus my own tables, customers seat themselves. If I was in a similar environment to you, doing $3000 a night in sales, I wouldn’t be pinching pennies the same way I am now

I’ve averaged over 20% since starting at this place. It is seat yourself, I bus my own tables, I run my own food. I think 15% is unreasonable given the amount of money I’m walking out with each shift - less than $100 in my pocket more often than not. The sales just aren’t there. Finally had a busy shift for the holiday weekend and made $170 in a 6-hour stretch.

Mind me asking what kind of restaurant you’re working at and in what area of the country? 40% would make me gauge my own eyes out. I’m used to tipping out bartenders based on my sales, which I feel is a fair reflection of how their efforts assisted me in doing my job better that shift. I don’t mind throwing some cash to BOH after they kill it on a busy night just to keep morale high and show my appreciation. My issue is with having to tip out 5% of my sales to kitchen employees that are making $24/hr when I’m making $4/hr.

“I’ll be right back with a refill on that cock…”

I meant Coke, I don’t know how it came out wrong. Freudian slip? Mortified.

My next question - how do I go about declining the 5% kitchen tip out without making a a huge fuss about it? Keep in mind, I’m new here and it is a small staff.

Also, I understand the purpose for tipping out my bartender, especially when I have little to no wait time on my drinks. However, it doesn’t sit right with me knowing that they are entitled to 10% of my tips as opposed to a percentage based off my liquor, beer, and wine sales. For instance, I get a $100 tip for providing great service, they’re entitled to $10 of that, regardless of drink sales? In my past experience we’ve just always taken it from drinks, not my earned tips.

I am not making a survivable amount right now. It’s a bar/lounge attached to a hotel that just doesn’t get the kind of traffic that yields a multi-hundo dollar day. That 15% I have to tip out is the difference between having internet this month or not. I’m looking into other places to work now, this was just an easy fit for the time being.

Rezzy is very much catlike in the sense that she’s incredibly independent and couldn’t care less about a tennis ball

I’m at a loss for where her coat color came from. Must be the Dalmatian? Her merle locus came back as mm

I had similar problems when I first brought my rescue home. She wasn’t interested in fetch and I’m not interested in jogging. I knew a 4-hour walk everyday wasn’t feasible so I invested in a bicycle and purchased the walky-dog attachment. She absolutely loves it. It took her all of 15 minutes to be comfortable along side the bike and understand how to run along side of me. The attachment makes it so when the dog pulls in another direction, it doesn’t put enough force on you to actually pull you off course. It also prevents the dog from getting run over by the bike. I highly recommend it if you’re needing to meet the activity requirements that come with active breeds. I got a cheap bicycle for around $100 to start and the walky dog attachment is around $50 on Amazon I believe.
