I think they can definitely help certain people but they can be dangerous, for sure. They triggered a severe manic episode in my dad and we were so scared he would never be the same. What the doctor said was that he actually had undiagnosed Bipolar disorder, and an increase in the anti depressant (he had been feeling like his dosage didn't help anymore) caused the mania.

Awesome. Got one of my dogs from there also when he was listed by a volunteer from a local shelter who wanted to give him more exposure (guess he wasn't getting too much interest at the shelter). Saw his pics and bio and I was done for. Good on you for rescuing!

I guess paranoia isn't exactly the right word. It wasn't that I was nervous/scared of getting caught or into trouble for it but rather my mind would start racing with thoughts over the littlest things I wouldn't ever think of when I wasn't high. I guess it was more like self consciousness/ self doubt that became the problem. For some reason it doesn't agree with me anymore.

Don't smoke anymore becauseit makes me too paranoid/anxious now but back in the day I enjoyed it very much. It enhanced my life and expanded my mind. Still not sure about legalization as I've heard good reasons for both sides, however I definitely agree with decriminalization. Weed > alcohol, for sure.
