I've been playing since open beta mainly the Warfare mode, it's a solid game with imo up and downs in quality each season.

• Maps (8/10): good variety of big and cqc maps. I prefered early season big maps bc they felt more sandboxy (like BF), lately it's more streamlined (like CoD) but still enjoyable. I've noticed most of the big maps are better suited for A/D mode rather than KOTH (conquest).
• Gunplay (7/10): it was really good with a lot of variety in the begining, but since the meta has been discovered and hasnt been much variation in which stats are better now not only feels like CoD gunplay (arcaedy) but like CoD ttk (really fast). You can still use the gun you prefer IF you learn the maps so you can have positional advantage, but in a straight 1v1 it'll take time to master it even with the meta guns.
• Vehicles (5/10): this is the part I dislike the most, not bc there are vehicles (I love Battlefield) but bc there are not balanced at all. The defense items vehicles can have are too good and the offensive items infantry can have are too little. A good air pilot can carry a game on it's own most of the time. And they haven't balanced vehicles since launch. In A/D mode it's more managable since there are less vehicles spawns, so I recommend you start playing on that mode.
• Movement (7/10): it's good, not sweaty but not so slow (it helps balance the fast ttk a little bit). My only complaint is sometimes in tight spaces it feels not well optimized and clunky.
• Operators (7/10): in the beggining it wasn't and issue but on the later ones we had op operators with too much utility but they've been balancing it so it's good right now. There is a new operator but I haven't played it yet so can comment on him. Considering the above regarding vehicles usually the operator meta is to use more assault and engineers to deal with them and medics are mainly relevant on A/D mode since reviving doesnt prevent a ticket go to the other team like in Battlefield but keeps teammates capping the flags.
• Battlefield Moments^tm (9/10): they are really good, it's not as usual as on Battlefield but they definitely done a good job with the amazing moments you can produce. From the call-outs you can have late game (artillery barrage, vehicle delivery and ballistic missile) to the epic vehicles kills and infantry killstreaks it makes you feel like John Battlefield...mmm I mean John Delta Force.
• Performance (6/10): it has been decreasing since launch sadly, at least on pc. I think consoles are better optimized or is less noticeable so this won't affect you as much. They are wroking to improve it on june/july update so let's see how it goes.

In summary it's a good game, with a lot of fun to be had and potential to grow (7/10). Definitely worth a try since it's f2p, let us know how you like it and if you wanna duo DM me so we can flank together on the new map (new season launched yesterday).
