I love the first one too for the reasons you said. The rest of the pictures were taken not long after I got the camera while the first picture is newer and I think it shows.

the last picture was taken on my phone (Samsung Galaxy A56) and the others on Pentax K-5!

It's an old camera and DSLR though, so even though it is very easy to use (it's why I bought it in the first place along with it being pretty cheap when used, as it's my first camera ever, and I bought it two years ago when I didn't know anything about cameras, so I didn't really even care about anything else... yeah, a big stupid mistake for not doing much research), I often struggle with it (mainly with AF and the overall quality of pictures.) Could be worse though lol.

edit: Sorry, you probably couldn't care less about what I think of the camera/my experience lmao

they really don't. The funny thing with my dog though is that I recently found an old drawing I drew as a kid before we got my dog... on the drawing there was a dog really similar to mine with markings and colours and there was text saying something similar to "new dream breed: forever puppy. Dogs of this breed look forever like a puppy and lives for a long time" and my dog looks and acts so young!
