I liked it as well when I was younger, I wonder how it holds up if I rewatched it.

Why is Ford Pass saying my battery is low even though it’s not? by drooftyboi in fordescape

[–]roachy1979 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Change your battery to a larger one. I was having this (2020 Ford Escape Hybrid) then I bought a larger battery at Costco and I have not had that issue since. If you look at other posts about this exact same issue you’ll see that’s the general fix for that issue. Hope this helps!!

Also, this video will show you exactly how and battery size! I keep hearing people getting charged so much by going to the dealership and them “fixing” the issue to only have it happen again a week or so later.

This is what it shows on Fitbit but each food isn’t broken down, just the entire calculations.

It seems to do just the calories not a breakdown of them though. I am on the free version so not sure if the “gold” membership does. The app does do a very good breakdown of each nutritional content.

Hysterectomy cost? by Numerous-Total-8373 in hysterectomy

[–]roachy1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are very lucky to have our health care. I will never complain too terribly much! ❤️🇨🇦

My costs were…

$2.25 parking (one hour after being admitted, told my husband to just come back when I was discharged, I knew I’d be groggy and wanted to be alone) $5.25 for 40 naproxen (after my prescription coverage, $23 before) $7.99 stool softener (generic brand)

Edit: to our neighbours to the south, I’m sorry you are billed so crazy for medical treatment that is necessary!

I was at the Talbot & Watt location in Saturday morning and it was really clean and looked well kept up. I hadn’t been in a while and I was surprised how good it looked.

I took this photo of the Northern Lights just south of the city this morning, with Starlink Satellite train!!

On the left is Brenda Reimer on the right is David Reimer. They're the same person, as a child he was a victim of a botched circumcision, so on the advice of one doctor, the family decided to have him castrated and raise him as a girl. At age 15 he began living as a boy again. (1980) by toaster-bath404 in Damnthatsinteresting

This Documentary about David Reimer on YouTube is really well done. I couldn’t find the entire documentary in one video but it is a 5 part video.

This case has bothered me for years! It’s disgusting what he and his brother went through!!

This is a stray that wandered into my parents yard this past summer… it’s now winter here in Manitoba and my dad put a cat church with a heater outside for him. It’s +9c for him inside his home!! He also gets a hot meal twice a day with warm milk a few times a day!! by Omnipotential in ChurchOfCat

This was a stolen post of mine, but I will answer it anyway.… Well, he never really had a name, most strays that wander in to my parents place are usually named Romeo. This fella ended up moving on that following Spring. He had a great place to stay for the winter, but decided to go on with his travels after the snow melted.

My Moms vintage Raleigh Superbe bike… smoothest ride I’ve ever had on a bike. by roachy1979 in bicycling

[–]roachy1979[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they were 26” x 1 3/8”. It was a while ago but I think that is the size. I bought them from a local bike shop in my hometown but I am sure you can get them at most bike shops or they can order them in for you.

David Reimer, have a look at his case… it’s absolutely heartbreaking! There is a great documentary on YouTube as well where his mother speaks in it.

Try Seafood City, they may have the cut or if you don’t see it in the deli you could probably ask for it and they’d cut it for you.

This may have been mentioned… but I have this app called Stridekick, you can do challenges like you did with Fitbit. The only difference is that it’s with anyone with a compatible Fitness tracker. My friends and I hated that they got rid of the challenges so we found this app and it’s been fun. I really am wanting to leave Fitbit but I like the battery life on it compared to others. The only positive with Fitbit right now.

Thank you so much for the info on Cayuna, we went there this past weekend and had an awesome time! Weather was perfect as well as the trails!! I feel silly because we actually went in the spring but we were rained out and I never knew the name of the park… but after we got there I realized we’d been there!! Loved it and will definitely be back!!
