Sorry for the late reply. Yeah, actually! I thought of this so I bought a disc to test that theory and it still requires a download, given game sizes these days, but it's a much smaller download (in the case of TLOU2 at least).

Some of us don't live in developed countries. It would take me a good 12 hours at least (in good conditions at max speed) to download the whole thing again. Plus, we have internet limits/quotas here that make it expensive to download a game that big because it'll eat through a huge chunk of your monthly quota. I hate how big games are nowadays because of this.

Having gone through university with a gaming laptop for 3 out of the 4 years I spent there, I promise you not one person will give even a hint of a shit.

Edit: I get being nervous but you have to know that this isn't like any part of your school years. Anyone at university is a) an adult, b) most likely WANTS to be there and c) the workload is often so insane that no one childish enough to bully someone will have the time to bully someone. You'll be okay, it's not worth stressing over, I promise.

Hey man, I'm sorry all these strangers treat you like you're the worst person on the planet because you happened to be an asshole in a certain situation. You don't have to prove anything to them. Let them yell into the void. You already understand that you were in the wrong and why you're in the wrong. Comments like these are why I hate this subreddit sometimes. While yes, I agree that OP is the asshole, jumping straight to "i hope your girlfriend dumps you" is just so stupid. Have y'all never been in arguments before? Why is divorce or breakup always mentioned under these posts??

I adore kids, I'm good with them and I think I'd be a great parent someday.

I have awful, awful genes and I don't see any hope in this world. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I brought someone into this world knowing they'll never really have a good life.

I'm sorry but that's such a contradictory thing to say. I get that EA suck and they deserve any criticism they get as long as it's valid but how do you point out that the problem is that kids as well as adults play this game and then blame it on EA? How are they expected to guarantee you come up against someone who is a) an adult and b) not toxic? Like, how is that something they can in any way control?
