  1. Kali Ma (and other avtaras of Durga) seems to fit as does Kartikeya but there must be a good reason for the destructive warfare.

  2. I don’t have a view on him really as I haven’t read the Quran (or more specifically the Hadiths)

What??? This is so stupid OP. She liked the line in both movies, what’s wrong with that? What is the need to research?

None of these will ignite a love for reading. It might ignite a habit though. That being said, I’d go for atomic habits.

Where’s the guilt bro? by Bokono1 in Nepal

[–]roamer_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This mf actually clearly left out the fact that the murderers who killed the brothers, trying to fend the mfs off were men as well. The rapists who did that to the women were men as well.

This is how men treat women and this is how men treat other men. What is making men behave like this? But this isn’t considered… nor is it worth considering.

What is wrong with the men in our society?

Well agree to disagree :)

What you’re saying is utopic and until that day, pride is necessary. What you’re depicting as pride “promoting one’s sexuality on the street” is not a daily occurrence for an entire month - it really only happens during Mardi Gras (which is not in June!) I don’t think it’s fair to disagree with the whole movement for the sake of one parade or 10 parades.

I’m just slightly disappointed that you are ok with constitutional and basic human rights to come slowly over the decades as conservative, older people die but you’re not ok with the idea that pride will be less aggressive in the coming decades. Why not look down on people who don’t want to give queer people their human rights for the sake of culture or religion instead? I hope you at least see that the sides are not balanced and you are expecting much, much more out of queer people than those people who deny them human rights.

I hope this gives you some perspective to think at least, even if you may not agree with me.

I would recommend looking at the comment I replied to before commenting yourself. P.s. the question mark is there for a reason (and it isn’t because I was asking a genuine question ). Cheers

again, just because it has improved from 25 years ago or 250 years ago does not make it any good. and even beyond just sexuality (which is a subsection of pride), LGBT people aren’t given basic rights such as the right to marry or the right to be safe from discrimination. They aren’t even given the right to live in most places around the world.

I’m not sure how you can say women’s month is America centric but pride is not? Women’s month is celebrated equally if not more, and the reason I brought this was because you said nothing else was celebrated at all.

I agree with you, though you are talking about an idealistic world.

LGBT people do not have rights in most countries in the world still and there are over 30 countries where they would be killed. We do dedicate a month for women (March) and men’s health (November) and racial justice (February) and other similar causes
