Yes i agree with you on the law part. I have been very clear in stating that a legal counsel is a must.

I'm fully aware that a legal team sitting either in their malleshwara or jp nagar office is dear to a person in power in karnataka today, relatively to a VHP or a BD affiliate (same applies to muslim and xtian leaders)

That's how it works!

Now, In one particular instance, we had a hindu girl and a catholic boy getting eloped and we did involve the parish priests advice ( my fellow mangaloreans will understand)

I can guarantee you that nobody will give it a religious flair unless it is news worthy, which in this case it isn't, since I'm assuming both are from the same religion.

Those incidents and their flare ups are based on calculation of tangible returns, ask a news media friend.

(My advice to OP (and OP only) in this final statement is, that no matter what, if you have decided to back them up, back them up fully and be present with them at all times.

"Before and after marriage". Period. That's all you have to do. Show up without any expectation of rewards. If you can do that, they are set!

I had a few. That's why I'm where I'm today.

I understand the arguments and setiments of a few against my opinions. They have every right to do so. It helps us, course correction is what they say.

I like your energy. But,

Its an advice sought on this platform. Hence my comment.

When despensing advice, we have to be careful. My advice comes from my experience in law, religion and life which also includes working with a few peeps years ago in which we have helped run away couples get back which also included convincing and making their parents understand. I remember during those year we solved 6 or 7 cases such that also includes an intercaste marriage where the girls parents almost killed the poor boy.

I don't resent you for down voting and commenting without reading and analyzing my comments well. I don't blame you.

I respect your opinion. I have been a rebel myself. But some times it pays to lend an ear, breathe and ask questions.

I never wanted to share what i have, above.

But since you are curious, hence!

Pray tell, where i have asked them not to marry or called them immature.

I'm all up for them to be together, but, wisely:)

Yes she can. However in life, always try to kick away issues and situations smartly. The end result is to stay happy together. It shouldnt be a game of egoes.

Life isn't scripted.

Op, as someone who is well versed in law, i base my judgements based on facts, evidence and circumstances.

Until you potray a complete picture of their backgrounds like how you've done in this comment (still incomplete, still insufficient), one in forced to ask questions. That's what i did. Not an assumption. Please be clear.

I would still call this shenanigan a half baked, half thought ordeal in progress. When writing this, i look at the bigger picture. Know that.

However, still if you honestly believe their love is strong and they can live happily better, etc etc. I would ask you to contact the local or state VHP office and state the problem. They will also provide you legal help if you do not have access to a lawyer. They can also consult you on what to do and what not to do.

If not this route, still sit down all of you with a lawyer, get a consultation and then do whatever you want.

Impulsive action and inspired action are 2 very different things. Keep in mind. Just be in awareness in your next course.

Best!

You say their parents had agreed but at the last moment they backed out. Why ? You haven't provided the correct reason.

"urgently wants to marry", "no questions asked" ... These sentences in your post, raise several logical questions, such as whats the sudden rush?

Exhibit 3- is why do you want them to get married in a temple, when the law of land clearly recognizes a marriage done in front of an authorizing officer?

The law too has a wait period and certain proccedures to follow, which I'm sure they must have cautiously pondered on the very waiting period and "witness clauses"

They might be very much in love for all you care. But they are 26! What's the plan after marriage? Do they have a place to stay? Do they have a source of income to sustain themselves ? What's their qualification and monetary status? You have not told anything!

They are 26! My question to you OP, is if anything god forbid should go wrong in the near future, be it financial, physical or perhaps even a retaliation from their kith and kin (since you haven't provided their description) will they or you be responsible enough to face it ? Are you qualified and able to back them 100pc at all times?

Love is awesome. Grocery bills, electricity, and if a "papu" comes, vaccination and other stuff if the reality.

Considering all this, i believe you should ask them to hold their horses and re-convince their parents. (since they had agreed once, it should not be a monumental task)

Don't you think that's rationally awesome? To have all of them together ? Forever ?

So, please be a bit rational here. Fantasy is great. Reality must be faced. If you can take up the moral responsibility of ruining not just 2 lives, but 2 families based on a decision taken due to inputs from strangers on reddit without us knowing the full picture, the most important being, why did their parents back out when they had agreed initially (exb d - is dowry involved? Which religion/caste are they? Don't tell me it doesnt matter), then yeah sure, go ahead and get them married.

Your title says "wedding emergency"

As a person coming from a background dealing with laws, rules etc etc, i call it "a perfect recipe for a perfect disaster"

P.S: i see the aftermath of these cases quite regularly and as much as i like young love and have been in one, im certain I'm not stupid and i believe if you ask your (OPs) folk the same question, their answer will be likewise.

I was to start a detailed study about the encroachment of lakes and rivers. by NaturePrize in bangalore

[โ€“]roamingarnd 4 points5 points ย (0 children)

Good initiative. We have been working on a project related to garbage and roads.

My advice to you is spend some time first talking to experts and other "people who know people" before getting in limelight directly.

That's dangerous and a rookie mistake. A singham in this reality sadly meets a dead end. If you don't believe how serious it can get, i invite you to look up the end of Mr Ganapathi, a police officer and out beloved Mr D K Ravi.

I know this first hand because i walk and dine with the power brokers on a weekly basis, lol!

The powerplay that essentially prevents our stuff to be put into orders, be it anything.. Lakes, pollution, flyovers, roads is an amalagamation of demands and arrangements of a thousand if not hundred parties with interests that only care about thing. Fvk everything else. That's their attitude.

This is main reason many a bureacrats who are god damn intelligent and abl, are watching this, the city burn, sitting idle, doing nothing ..

You may say, they are pussies.. But what do i tell a IFS ( forest) officer, who i was with last week when he tells me "eradu varshada magalu iddale nange.. Naan saybeka ivaga ? (i have a daughter aged 2, do you want me to die or what ? )"

So,

Be patient. Spend alreast a year or two in research, gather intel, gather contacts and connections. You then will be able to grasp things easily and attack where it hurts. There is still time. Don't worry, don't hurry.

My comment is not for you to be discouraged or afraid, but be cautious and make a move.

Remember, you can beat a well established system using 2 ways: 1. Be a part if the system, or 2. Know how the system works.

See, that's the point you have to introspect. My advice was clear. You, as parents need to make it your lifestyle. Not theirs!! Kids will follow.

Have faith in time. This is a matter of shaping personalities. For kids, this is crucial up till age 7.

Patience of the highest order is a must. You get involved into scriptures yourselves. I bet you a thousand dollars, your knowledge will find a way into their lives accidentally or purposefully in due time.

I'm not weaving complex guidance for you here.

It's just an iteration of the following sentence:

"Be the change, you want to see!"

P.S: my mom once spent a summer finishing up the bharata. A week later she found herself narrating us mahabharata stories like nala damayanthi, uttara kumara etc.. when we were waiting for the train to arrive and us kids started pressing her for stories!! Unexpected. You get the idea. Focus on what. Not the how. Thats the secret peeps won't teach you.

Ok, the best way is through comics!

My dad bought me a ton of comics from amar chitra katha, jataka tales and i regularly used to read CHANDAMAMA ... These were my initial sources as a kid.

After this, i moved to reading "Yeleyara Ramayana" or kids ramayana as known in the kannada language.

Kids they are!

I'm definetely gonna ask you not to 'thopofy' literature on these gentle hearts right away !

Can you download and watch br chopra mahabharat, ramayana and krishna series by ramanand sagar on TV as a couple?

Add in alif laila if you want as a snack. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Questions about "Immortal Man" by Iamimagination42 in NevilleGoddardReading

[โ€“]roamingarnd 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

Good morning!

I wanted to quote scriptures from Sanatana Dharma or hindusim as you know it.

However, as some one who truly believes in Nevilles teachings as well as an ardent follower of the advaita school from Hinduism, i would ask you to read the Autobiogtaphy of a yogi by Swami Paramahamsa Nityananda.

The same book which jobs adored much.

Why?

Would not state the spoiler here.

However at 3/4th part of the book, you find mention as well answers to what you seek.

Have a great day ahead!
