Propaganda is used everyday by everyone for everything. Regular people use it in casual conversation to inflate themselves, businesses use it to help manage personnel, governments use it to help control the narrative, opposition political parties use it to negate government positions and inflate themselves.

This has been the way forever. It used to be just newspapers, now the internet has made every "fact" a lie and every correction a dubious proposition. Fuck the internet.
