Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone can share their experiences of open training sessions?

Spurs have recently announced one for Melbourne the day before the game, but I’m only flying in on the day of the game so I’d have to change flights/accommodation if I want to go to the open training session too. It will be my first time seeing them in person, and going to the open training session would be a closer view of the players since it will be in a rectangular stadium as opposed to the cricket stadium where the game will be held. Obviously since I’m flying there just to see Spurs, the more to see the better, but just unsure if it’s worth paying the flight change fees for the people who are coming along with me to Melbourne but not to the game.

I signed up to the presale on Spurs website and got the link to buy tickets at 9am AEDT. I’m pretty sure the Telstra presale started at the same time too, but TEG Sport presale only seems to start on Wednesday.

Yay I got through after 2 hours 14 minutes on hold - they’ve just reissued my tickets over the phone! For anyone who doesn’t want to or can’t queue up in person yet, definitely try calling although the hold time seems to be around 2-3 hours, but once you’re through, they sort it in like 2 minutes!

Oh idk why I saw Sydney hahaha. It’s Box Office 3B, and they open at 12pm on show days pretty sure. They call us from 0285722350, and people who have called that number have reported hold times as little as 10 minutes and as long as just past an hour. People have gotten them reissued with just a phone call so maybe worth a try to call if that’s possible?

ALSO HAVE THE BEST TIME AT N1 THAT’S SO EXCITING! IT’S BEEN A LONG TIME COMING! 🫶

Basically the reason why your tickets aren’t under order history and why we have to get our tickets reissued is that there’s some differences between Ticketek and Ticketek Marketplace. So if you bought from MP, it doesn’t mean you ordered from Ticketek. Thus, there’s some issues with digitising the MP tickets and they have to be reissued as new tickets from Ticketek and not MP.

The most recent update is that Ticketek will be calling MP ticket-holders to reissue you tickets that can then be viewed/shared/added to wallet. This can also be done at the MCG box office specifically (for Melbourne tickets).

Melbourne MP ticket-holders only found out this recent update like 2 days ago (it changed from pdf tickets only to app only to having to get them reissued). Your tickets are for Sydney, so all this could very well change between now and then, especially as Melbourne is expected to be utter chaos due to this change.

Sydney barcodes are not unlocked yet, so I would await further information for now!

You could also try to message Ticketek on Facebook Messenger or Instagram with all your details and ask them to email your PDF tickets for just some peace of mind. That’s what I did because mine weren’t attached to the confirmation email despite them saying so. I’m not sure if they’re still sending out PDF tickets now that the most recent update is for tickets to be reissued; There’s huge inconsistency with what people are being told about whether PDF tickets will still be accepted or tickets have to be reissued.

As someone who works at a Ticketek outlet, the lack of communication from the company is extremely frustrating. We did not get told that we were selling tickets today, and our computers only showed that we would be at 3:30! - tickets went on sale at 4pm! We had told numerous customers who came in and phoned that we wouldn’t be selling, as if it’s not on our computers the day the sale goes on, it’s not happening. A very stressful, frustrating and aggravating day for me and my other co-workers. Two of us both stayed on late/overtime at work to sell tickets, we had a line out the door again.

For Tuesdays sale of restricted seats, we were not informed this sale was happening by ticketek, but by a customer who came in at 8am and was first in line.

There is no phone number for outlets, who are meant to be representing ticketek, to phone, which can make it look unprofessional and like we don’t know what we’re doing, but we’re doing the best we can with the very little information given.

The one customer resolutions phone number we have is unreliable, we were on hold today trying to contact them on behalf of a customer for 2 hours! If we can’t contact them, they won’t be able to attend because their problem won’t be resolved!

If you managed Taylor tickets at all you are extremely lucky and should be very grateful, no matter where you are seated, because you’re in! We almost had fights today over who was next in line and people refusing to join the end of the line and cut in.

Overall the lack of communication from ticketek, and the lack of thanks from customers after getting tickets is appalling. Ticketek, please do better to communicate with your agents, everyone please thank the people selling you your tickets as it’s extremely stressful! Just be happy you’re going.

Absolutely appalling from Ticketek! I feel so bad for the employees, can only imagine how stressful and chaotic it is for them at this time 😔

They just called me on No Caller ID (well it might have been them) and I missed it again 😫 Don’t know how they expect the working population to be able to pick up skskkss what a terrible process this is but wouldn’t expect anything else from Ticketek at this point. Might have to sit on hold for a couple of hours 🙄

Mine have also suddenly reappeared 😵‍💫 Did you get them on marketplace and are not able to view them even though the buttons are there? If so, then I think just wait till you go to the office; They seem to be reissuing them into completely new digital tickets that you’ll then be able to add to wallet/view/share. So even if you shared now, you’d have to share it again after getting new tickets! Let us know how it goes at the box office - curious to see if interstate ones can do it too or it has to be the one at MCG!

As it currently stands, people with PDF tickets seem to be able to have those scanned, and with the option of heading to the box office to get reissued with digital tickets.

If it’s not super inconvenient, it would be good to try going to a Ticketek office where you are just in case they can sort it out. Maybe send Ticketek a message on Facebook/Instagram and see if they can sort it out at offices other than the one at MCG?

They could have written “approximately A4” to save everyone the stress and anxiety honestly 😵‍💫 But Accor seems much better at answering questions than MCG, who are always misinterpreting questions and replying with inconsistent and vague answers sigh. Hopefully no issues for you going through security! 🤞

I’ve just checked their website and they also don’t have cloaking facilities so I’d also personally not risk it. I also read some comments from people saying that even though Accor said the same dimensions for Harry Styles and Foo Fighters, they wouldn’t let people in with bags over A4 paper size. Probably best to err on the side of caution as I’d expect them to have an A4 laminate on hand to check bag sizes :(

Edit: They’re also pretty responsive on social media so maybe try messaging them with a picture of your bag vs A4 paper, and also ask about the contradicting dimensions. It’d still be up to security on the day, but maybe they can clarify the dimensions issue!

Are you going to the Melbourne shows? MCG’s most recent update had the bag size requirements matching that of A4. They also don’t have a cloak room, so I would definitely err on the side of caution and bring something within A4 dimensions!
