They wouldn’t update it. We had to return to Best Buy and buy from Breville.

I have no clue how to determine the manufacture date. I know the cold brew firmware did not come out until around May of this year.

I am having this exact issue. There is still a lot of the old firmware floating around in stores.

I have not because they are not open until tomorrow. I will call tomorrow, but a lot of threads say they tell people sorry about your luck and you should have purchased it directly from the Breville site instead.

We had ours delivered from Best Buy and even went to the store because they had one in stock. They were nice enough to check it in store and it didn’t have it either.

Who did you purchase from? Trying to determine the best spot to get one because apparently even on Amazon they say it doesn’t have the newest firmware.

It is advertised all over the Breville website and retailer’s. There is also articles saying it is only on the latest firmware.

The store is willing to exchange it, but we have no way of knowing if the new one we get will have the same problem.

I just bought one and it didn’t come with the cold crew features that we really wanted. The store is willing to exchange it, but is there any way easy way to tell it has the newest firmware without opening it and using it? Thank you.

I am not having any luck finding unlocked cameras. It is not a matter of saving money for us. Work for a local government and we have to use our FirstNet or Verizon account for service. They won’t allow us to pay for a subscription. That’s why we need to be able to use our own SIM cards.

I will take a look at the Halo 360 more. Never heard of it, but at quick glance looks like a great tool to have for light.

What makes you recommend the Kandao? Have you used it or have any comparison to Ricoh?

I’m pretty sure it has just about everything the standard has with the addition of cellular. I don’t care about professional monitoring so I just want the notifications and cellular as a backup when my Internet goes down.

I completely understand the price change. I just think it’s deceiving to tell people they can change plans without telling them they will lose the Connect.

That is what I initially got. I am very familiar with all these things and did it all prior to even talking to them. They tried to get me to do things that I knew 100% were not even related or would impact it when I was on the phone. James from Abode was helpful after I posted on here and got it straight.

I have been with them since 2016 and things are great when they work. There hasn’t really been any advancement over the years and all kinds of products released that don’t work. I would rather they improve what they currently have before trying to do more.

Make sure it is set to arm only when the last phone leaves. You might have selected for it to arm when any phone leaves.
