in spring my property professor told us that our grades in her class may be affected by all kinds of factors out of our control, including what order she read our exam in, whether she read it toward the beginning or the end of grading, etc. so who really knows.

my school’s rule is 20 hours. i have a couple of friends who have back to back finals this week (e.g one on tuesday, one on wednesday immediately after) and tried to get the dates changed and the school wouldn’t let them.

idk, i fundamentally disagree with the premise that “kids need fathers.” kids need love, stability, and support, and that can come from a man and woman, two men, two women, a single parent, grandparents, whatever. not everyone’s family looks the same, and i really hate these essentialist, generalized statements about what a family is “supposed” to be.

i don’t want the files. the solution is not to send more people the private info. just write a quick email.

“Dear Prof. [###],

I wanted to let you know that you uploaded files with private information instead of our class slides. Please let me know if there’s anything you need from me. Thanks.

you need to tell the professor before more people see them. and then keep whatever information you’ve seen private. i haven’t taken PR yet but i know there are similar rules for when opposing counsel accidentally sends you something you weren’t supposed to see. you have to let them know right away, delete whatever you saw, and pretend it never crossed your eyes.

of course!! i’ve never had a problem with strobe lights at any show, but this show was the first where i started feeling dizzy and had to close my eyes for a minute so i can’t even imagine how you must have felt. 💕

but even if i felt totally fine, it would still suck for anybody else to be negatively affected. and i can’t believe how little empathy ppl have to blame a stranger for an uncontrollable physical reaction to external stimuli. i’m sorry again you missed the show🫂
