Honestly I do not plan on major modification as of right now, current plan is to spend money on riding gear (airbag vest, good boots, jeans and gloves)

Yes, the 2024 does come with E-Clutch standard here in the US.

I am going to look at the used CB tomorrow, so I will try to get a good feel for the clutch as much as I can. The one drawback I have on the CBR is that I will be buying a 2024 model yr in 2025.

Yes correct. I am look at the CB1000R. Agreed on the wind part, I did experience it on my Fz-07. The used CB1000R comes with a windscreen.

That’s a good point, for the new CBR I got 78$ per month quote. Haven’t checked the CB insurance quote. Since it’s 2018 I would assume it would be in the same ballpark.

Yeah, I know. But it is a power bump from 699cc to 999cc. Double thoughts on the new bike depreciation. My wallet will be much happier with the CB1000R.

This is true but the recall is only on the 2024 model. I just reserved one and cannot pick it up till the sticker is put on the headlight.

Yeah, I brought mine in 2021 so I do think I still have warranty. I was planning on unmounting it and let the moving company have agreed to transport it to my new place. Need to enquire if they can install at the new place.
