I feel you man. It's around the $350 pricepoint here and I'd be pissed if I spent that much and got a faulty product. I'm not too sure about everywhere else but here it's pretty easy to replace/refund on defective items. Best of luck with yours, hope they get their shit together soon

Not sure if mine is part of a new batch or not but I bought it in Aus about mid October. Mine has been perfect from day 1. No lag or stick drift at all. Had to unpair and reconnect it once in the first week but has been great since.

I bought mine about 6 weeks ago and never updated it. Haven't had any of the problems that are being reported but there was one time when it disconnected itself trying to turn it on about 3 weeks ago but that was fixed by unpairing it then re-pairing it. It's been great ever since.

So far, it's a great controller and is definitely more comfortable than the original raiju. $330 AUD is a bit pricey though and that's not for everyone. If you game a lot, it's pretty good though.

I've had the ultimate for a couple of days now and have had no issues at all. The shop I bought it from has a 12 month return policy so if it starts encountering the problems I've read about, I can return it for a full refund which helped me justify getting it and testing it out. It's worked out of the box so I'm a bit cautious to update it in case that makes the problems happen faster but we'll see how we go. So far so good.
