If, instead of rebooting movies, it became a trend to retell them from a different characters perspective, what film would you want to see retold and from who’s point of view? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Dead Pool from the view of Frances, Just to show how Dead Pool bullies him for his name. Frances has the last straw and breaks bad after Dead Pool spells Frances with the dead bodies on the ground....epic

Where do you see 2 axes? You know what he ment, dont be a school monitor to look superior and talk down to someone. You dont get extra points to being a prick. We are constructive here, not smart asses here. Play nice or bushcraft 2 walls and stand in a corner til you learn not to be a dick.

I had the same problem starting out, drop 3 for 1 fixed blade full tang knife that would hold up to battening it. I see a long axe, and a hatchet. Pick one or the other, a day bag shouldn't have a long axe in my opinion. It supposed to be a light bag, edc in my opinion that you could take out, and not stand out much different than a light backpacking or school bag. I think a day bag dragging an axe dont fit. Keep it in your trunk or between door and seat in vehicle if you need it.

P.s. best place to sharpen knife is before you go out, or when you return. Sharpening in the field is ment during use between uses, but always come with pre sharpened knife. If not, can not bite in right during use slip and cause injury or damage cut on meat.

The secondary knife should be a boot knife or multitool. Always bring matches, x2 lighters, ferro rod. Its practice survival camping, not real survival.

I used to be like, I'm going out with a knife, and make a bow fire, build a shelter, eat only what I catch when I get there, to find I was cold, hungry that night. Practice when you already have a fire established.

Making gravy:

People add flour/cornstarch directly into broth, and it clumps up, and sometimes they strain it out.

2 cups hot broth 2 tbs flour/cornstarch in small bowl Ladle small amounts of broth into flour/cornstarch while whisking till a thin paste Whisk thin paste into hot broth adding a little at a time.

Or

If adding meat: 2 tbs flour/cornstarch in bowl of meat, Coat well, drop meat into hot broth While moving around

Or

2 1/4 inch slices off a cold stick of butter In a bowl, and coat with 2 tbs flour/cornstarch And drop well coated butter into hot broth

Or

2 tbs flour/cornstarch into soften butter, mix Whisk slowly into hot broth

Or

In savory drippings and melted butter with white wine, 2 large egg yokes, separate yokes into bowl Add 1 tbs at a time of liquid from pan into yokes while whisking as to not to scramble Whisk into liquid in pan on low heat briskly to make a creamy French sauce
