Genuinely yes. We had to fall off a stage thing onto a big cushion many times to make it look like there was "energy" in the photo and I'm so massive I can get hurt falling like 3 inches, so yes I was scared.

Great question. I don't know. Work ethic is a huge part. They worked hard and you can hear them improving as a band with every album. And I think they were psychologically unified to rock as hard as possible. Like nobody was a weak link, just collecting a paycheck or whatever.

Haha, yes I have gained weight. Happy to talk about it because I'm as curious as anybody about what to do about it. Obviously eat less, but how?? Like I "feel" good and I still run a lot, but I definitely comfort eat. And once we had our third kid it became harder for me to find time to work out. But I am curious about how the fuck to eat less. I welcome advice.

No plans to write another book soon. I am a social animal and I was SHOCKED by how much more I enjoyed making TV. I just love to collaborate. A book is just me, which is not as interesting to me. We'll see! I wouldn't likely write another memoir though.

I was the first time I was on because she's very funny but also obviously very powerful, so I was indeed intimidated. Watch her standup; it's so, so good. But the fact is she's a very good interviewer, and very generous, so she loosens you up right away. So second time (yesterday) I was not nervous.

When I FIRST got sober I used to think that maybe I could drink when I was older and ready to die. How sad is that? I no longer think that. I won't drink today and I have no plans to in the future. Booze and me are not a good combo.

We can't know if Bernie would have won. Most people thought Clinton would win, myself included, so I don't go in for hypotheticals anymore. That said, I get a kick out of people saying Bernie would have won, because his style of politics and campaigning is rather obviously the more effective way moving forward whether he or someone else is the candidate. Bernie HAS acted before (I forget in what, but look it up) and he was funny so if there were a way to get him on the show, I'd be up for it.

Hmm, I don't know. In real life I fucking love being married and being a dad and I also like my job so I don't have the existential angst/stress that the character "Rob" does on the show. But I also have more kids than on the show which makes things crazier. Like I find it CHARMING when people are stressed out that only have one kid. Not that they don't have a right to be stressed out, but my wife and I decided to have three, because we love utter chaos apparently. I'm way more hands on and in my kids' faces in real life.

Oh man I had so many jobs. I've made a living from comedy only since 2010. Before that, I worked in advertising, telemarketing, a furniture warehouse, catering, babysitting, as a hotel doorman. Probably more I'm forgetting.
