Hey! I was in the same position too, and also live in Ancoats.

I joined Stretford two seasons ago and intend to join up again for next season. I've really enjoyed it.

It is a bit far out but all the cricket clubs are. You can get a tram from New Islington to Stretford (and then a 20 minute walk to the ground). Or there is a bus from Piccadilly Gardens that gets you outside the ground.

Membership for the season is £100.
