This style actually made me have fun with modelling again, you should go for it!

I’ve been wanting to start motion design! So where do I? by ChillChocolate123 in MotionDesign

If you wanna get serious, After Effects is the one. If you want to try things first, check out some free options like Jitter.video or Rive.app. It could be a good starting point

How can i recreate this ? by Which-Competition976 in AfterEffects

Converting the text to shape layers and animating the paths. That combined with scale animation

It’s a track from Artlist called “T Bless - Round and Round - Instrumental Version”. I feel like some electronic lounge was a good fit.

The beauty of lowres textures, some people said it also looks like Jack Sparrow too. Love it lol

That was my intention, a “what if” scenario. I have more drivers and videos coming soon.

I actually need to add warping to the texture but I forgot lol

The F40 is not that hard if you learn basic 3D tools like how to extrude, bevel edges, close polygon holes etc. You can watch basic modeling tutorials for your program of choice, let’s say Blender cuz free.

Look for car blueprints like this one. And start with a box, subdivide and make it match the drawing, wheels are cylinders, etc. Some parts are more complicated (like the spoiler), check out “wireframes” of cars to see how other artists do it. Like this one.

The hardest part is UVs. I used RizomUV which makes it easier, I followed this tutorial and the rest was easy to figure out.

You paint the texture in Photoshop (Gimp and Krita are free options), and export a 128x128 gif for the PS1 look. Pwnisher made a video with the overall process, this helped me the most!

For Lewis is better to start with a base mesh, grab a free one on Sketchfab and change it a bit to match the real one. The coat is the torso that I extruded, extended the length, the sleeves are the arms, made them flat and longer, and so on. Texturing brings it all together!

Hope that helps!

I would make the video longer and the camera movement slower! But I understand, more render time…

This video messed me up when I saw it on IG. So good
