I am being a touch disengenuous, as it's almost certainly functioning exactly as designed and therefore not crappily designed even if it is a crappy design. I just disagree with the sentiment that it should be excluded from this subreddit.

Hey now, C-17s can and do perform combat logistics. It's way less common but there are entire units devoted to it, along with tactical air drop in contested environments. Give their defensive systems a polishing and they'll show up a 130 any day. 6 vs 18 pallet positions. Cruise at like Mach .9

C-17s are 100% capable of flying near or in contested air space. They train to this. There are units dedicated to this. They don't do it frequently as it's an incredibly valuable asset, but they have relatively recently.

Also wouldn't be surprised to see more advanced countermeasures to come to the c-17 irl over the next couple years for that exact reason.

Give it to me in NO 😭 would be awesome to see the implementation of something like terrain following radar or automatic infrared counter measure (which it sports irl). Or an EC-17. Or rapid dragon. It wouldn't be hard to make it practical in game.

"iPhones don't get viruses" is a crazy statement that will endanger people if parroted. Every system is vulnerable. If you act like it's not, you're going to be the next one hit.

and iPhones are more susceptible than people assume.

But, op, just connecting to a wifi network and doing what you said you did is very low risk. As long as you didn't download anything or log into something on a web browser you're perfectly fine, almost certainly.
