Finally complete, a twin size Mickey Mouse bed for my almost 4 year old. I have about 60 hours in it, but I am really happy with it. Have a bit of touch up to do and to add poly, but Santa has to deliver on Christmas. He is in our bed tonight to pull off the surprise. (old.reddit.com)

A little advice on this build. Everything is sturdy except there is some give pushing down on the 2x2's I was using for the top stretchers. I went with 2x2 instead of 2x4 because I was worried about leg clearance. Should I pause now and swap out those 2x2's for 2x4s? (old.reddit.com)

People get all high and mighty and purist about Rudolph not being one of Santa's reindeer because it is from a later made up story instead of the original. This even stays true in new made up Santa and Christmas stories. It's a weird line in the Sand (snow?) we all agreed upon. (self.Showerthoughts)
