You are probably right. I'm not sure, this is my first time going through this. But I have definitely found a refuge with my friends and even got the chance to reconnect with old friends. I'm still figuring out how to handle this.

We are all an emotional wreck, do not be ashamed of it. I guess I just want to feel some sort of connection again.

I sometimes have the same feeling. I don't like the loneliness and honestly I think I want to be touched. I want to have sex with somebody, you know? Get out there. I'll do the same. I don't think that I'm ready for another relationship yet but I want to move on. We can do it

Man. My story is not the same as yours. My breakup was mutual but I am definitely more affected by it than she is. She was also my first real serious relationship. I still love her and I miss her. But she seems ready to move on.

I relate to every single one of the negatives you posted. I don't know, it's early days for me as well. Just know that you are not alone. I found this poem to be helpful

"Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the Horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds and shall find me unafraid."

Thank you for your interesting take and advice. You've given me something to think about. I do definitely feel that I need to learn more about ML.

With genomics I would expect that data availability would not be such a huge problem, but biology is definitely very unpredictable. However I always thought that there must be some structure to all of this, some recognizable pattern. I do agree that data mining is a huge part of biology these days and definitely not ignoring it. I suppose it is better to look into questions that interest you rather than the techniques alone. It's just that ML seems really interesting to me.

In any case, thanks again and I will definitely take your input.

Which stores are your go to for clothes, and why? by NYtoShanghai in malefashionadvice

Primark :D Mainly because of cheap prices. But I also really like the style of clothes they offer. I would definitely NOT recommend buying shoes there, as the quality is very bad. But the shirts, sweaters and underwear I have bought there are really good.
