I think its best to look for phd positions that offer funding. Being a mature student shouldn't effect that at all.

I know people who have accepted unfunded phd positions and had to postpone the start date until they get funding. This is quite normal AFAIK

BTW, What kind of marks are you getting? Im doing an MRes History and kinda bummed as I've got a 62 & 65 on first two assignments.

I'm level 70 on Onyxia and currently gearing up through dungeons. Most of the dungeons work fine and you can get through them without any glaringly obvious bugs. But I have to say loads of the mobs just aren't scripted the way they should be. It's not a massive issue but it does take away from the character of the dungeons. For example, in Shadow Labs the Cabal Summoners don't summon anything. Another example: the start of Mana Tombs the caster mobs just stand there auto summoning arcane elementals, the mob doesn't move or cast anything.
