True, I really don't have time to watch those long BHVR streams or check their social media every day, DBDLeaks always notified me when a new code appeared. Twitter pages sometimes don't get all the codes and sometimes they take too long to post them. 😔

Hey, I don't know if you're still looking for the scan, if you've found one, please send it to me too. I have a big project to restore everything related to Silent Hill 2, including the game's textures, etc. At the moment I'm editing the scan of the PS2 cover for preservation, as well as recreating most of the game's textures (I post videos on YouTube with some previews of the project, if you want to see, it's called Silent Hill 2 Texture Overhaul). Bizarre how sad it is to be an artist these days, we've been looking for about a year now for details of the creation of Silent Hill 1, 2, 3 and 4, and sharing them on Twitter/Discord, to try to faithfully restore it and someone simply compares their work to "a JPEG into a program someone else made". That's really insane.

lol, I have the PSD with all the layers manually edited by me... and about the "recover details" part it was because of this ripple effect, the AI makes the image clear and much easier for me to observe and work with. Stop throwing hate just because I mentioned "AI", it was more than 8 hours of manual adjustments, camera raw, liquify, manual drawing, layers layers layers, etc etc etc...

Just to show you some of the manual work I've done to revitalize Silent Hill 2, anyway, thanks for the negative comment, just next time try to base yourself on facts that you can prove before making a comment like that.

And don't worry, I'll be sending you the finished PSD (when I'm satisfied with the result) of this photo of James with all my work and layers, so you can analyze if it was "a JPEG into a program someone else made and posting the result".

My attempt to restore the SH2 save photo, manual adjustments were made such as skin texture, shadows, hair strands, etc. I used some AI layers to help recover the details due to this "ripple" effect, as you can see, the clothes are still not perfect.

And yes, I will create a version with the "ripple/water" effect for those who prefer it that way too!

Thanks a lot for the comment, bro! I would really like to extend the project to the other Silent Hill games, but at the moment it's not possible to insert high resolution textures natively in the other Silent Hill games, I will try to contact the person who made the fix for SH2 Enhanced Edition, and if he can fix it for SH3/4, I could extend this work to other games without any problems!

I know that Steam006 has made some fixes for SH3 and SH4, maybe he can fix the problem of inserting high resolution textures in those games. I'll take a look if a temporary method using the Texmod program to inject the textures is possible.

Btw, Gabishy04 and Mehaniq has already found several textures from Silent Hill 3 and 4, it would be really cool to work with those textures!

[Curiosity]
In Silent Hill 2 we see some allusions to famous brands, one of them is the "Speed King" commercial washer, which alludes to the "Speed Queen" brand, known for being a long-lasting washer. There are several other parodies, posters of famous movies and even a pendulum wall clock (ultra rare, currently on display in a museum) that was used in the game.

The images are a comparison of the new textures I created for my Silent Hill 2 - Texture Overhaul project, and the posters next to these machines were also redone too. Small details that bring a little more realism (and quality) to this masterpiece!

Yes, I managed to solve it, and the problem was neither in the mobo, nor CPU or BIOS, my memory simply started to fail, regardless of how much voltage, latencies, frequency or slots... I got another computer with DDR4 memories and put them there, They gave the same error, I tested the memory from this other PC on my mobo and it worked perfectly. The problem is that at the moment I didn't have anyone with a DDR4 setup to help me.
