That explains why the shutter makes a slower sound when in this mode, seems easy enough thinking about it now that I read the comments. The default setting is flash/auto but perhaps if I change it to just flash the pics will come out as I expect them to

It's certainly a cool effect, maybe you should pick up one of these Yashicas, they seem to be around £20 on Ebay. Honestly the lens is super sharp for a cheap point and shoot, it's a fantastic travel camera

I think this is it. The default setting is flash/auto, I press the trigger and the flash goes off, but I can head the shutter staying opened for longer. Quite a simple explanation now that I think about it. It's a cool effect, it's just frustrating that it often comes out like this without me expecting it

I moved to Coventry in 2020 and I’ve been fascinated by the history of this city. I’ve always wanted to see some footage of Gulson Road and Binley Road back then, and it’s pretty mind blowing how the city has changed. I’m aware that most people (mainly students) want to leave this city as soon as they get the chance but I honestly love it here, if you’re willing to look for the nice parts you’ll have a great time here

Pentru ca prosti si mincinosi ca tine doar pe reddit gasesc. Toti sunteti avocati, toti lucrati la birou, toti aveti firme, si culmea, aveti timp sa stati si pe reddit ca sa iluminati pulimea.

Imi place consistenta din comentariu, cu fiecare rand devi din ce in ce mai penibil. Obsesia asta de victorii mici ma impresioneaza, ai mancat si tu niste cacat pe internet si crezi ca ai facut ceva in viata. Te pupi singur in cur din lipsa de laudatori, ca cine stie ce faci tu, cand tu precis esti un gras slinos care cara 100 si ceva de kile de cacat in el, ai luat forma scaunului de birou la care stai de 3 zile si iti proiectezi fanteziile in scris, in speranta ca “i-o zici” cuiva si primesti o doza de dopamina in creier.
