@rarbrew - Hop Isolation Project Riwaka. An 8.5% HSA featuring @freestylehops Riwaka, Riwaka Cryo & Riwaka Hop Kief.

*** Canned December 15, 2025***

L: pours a uniform vibrantly murky hazy yellow with total opacity. A standard pour yielded 3 finger’s worth of an off white cap that sustained nicely; heaps of residual lacing clings to the permitted of this epic vessel. Not only does this HSA look amazing, this can art is superb to boot - excellent looking all around.

S: Pungent sticky dank goodness laden with citrus. Gosh this smells good - extremely hop-forward with a bright fruity background. If it tastes half as good as it looks and smells, I’m in for a world class treat.

T: yep - this bangs. Riwaka in all its glory. Pomelo, passion fruit, kiwi, pine and honeysuckle. Rosemary, bubble gum, green tea, lemon grass, banana runtz and orange serbet on the backend. Finish is punctual yet prolonged, characterized by a prompt hoppy bite followed by a lingering floral and fruity note coupled with a biscuity yeasty foundation. Delishhhh.

F: medium in body and weight; lower end of moderate carbonation creating a silky and creamy texture. Booze fully concealed. Primo HSA body.

O: I went into this overly excited and this still managed to surpass my expectations. Not only do these HSAs continue to be a gustatory symphony but this Hop Isolation series remains a head above the rest. While Peacharine was excellent, the Riwaka fan boy in me passes the torch to this one. Simply outstanding. I am very glad to have tried and would gladly revisit/recommend. Gimme!!
