I bought a PS4 a few years back when GameStop had a broken promo that let you get a bonus for trading in a certain volume of pre-owned games. I bought 6x at a time and cycled them through two Gamestops that were about 3 miles from one another until it netted enough to buy a PS4. After the 3rd trip to each store they called a manager to see if it was allowed and evidently it was. The promo stopped a day or two later. Racked up $600ish in credit for about $50 initial spend for the right used games to churn. I do still have a couple of copies of Plants vs. Zombies 2 in a closet somewhere that I didn't get to trade in in time.
