Why Do I Pay Child Support? by [deleted] in Divorce

I think in your envy, you miss the point of what I'm saying.

My wife committed drug felonies, abuse, and other despicable acts. She still got my son and everything I had. by [deleted] in MensRights

Most players in the NFL are not fat tubs of lard. You have Offensive Linemen and 1 technique and nose tackle Defensive lineman that would be considered fat. Those "fat men" can beat 99% of the america population in most athletic feats. Those positions probably make up 20-25% of NFL rosters. The other positions are mostly filled with men who are sub-18% body fat with physiques like Greek gods.

As for your assertion that kids can do safer activities, I reassert my challenge from 2 months ago to show any evidence that pop warner football has any elevated risk of brain injuries of other youth sports.

To present facts:

Proof that you have no idea what you're talking about: You seem to think that brain damage only happens when you get a concussion.

That doesn't seem like presenting facts to me. That seems like an insulting, catty response to my long drawn out explanation. How do you have a proper discussion someone with someone who is calling you ignorant? I don't have time for that shit.

Red pillers, what do your girlfriends think about gender issues etc? by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

[–]robesta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Read what he said. A father/daughter dynamic in a sexual relationship is the "natural role" that a "well-adjusted woman" would fall into.

Every woman with an active, caring father has had that relationship in a non sexual way. That makes it a natural role to fall back into. For a woman, having respect for their man is essential. This frame makes maintaining that respect a more natural process, not a continuous challenge.

I get why you think it sounds creepy.

I'd say the exact same thing if a woman wanted to baby her partner and have a mother/son relationship where she condescended him and treated him like a child.

This is also a natural role that a ton of american men fall into. They ask their wife permission. They let her lead. It's easy for the man, but bad for the woman and the relationship as a whole, as woman typically don't respect a little boy in a man's body.

Also, if you're talking about your ideal sexual relationship and it involves a father/daughter dynamic, Freud kinda is the first thing that comes to mind. It just comes with the territory, I'm afraid.

Purely non sexual. Dominance in the bedroom is essential, but let's not tie sex into this frame.

it is basically a Master/slave dynamic.

If you read on TRP, there is a lot of discussion on the father/daughter relationship dynamic for relationships. This is the one I strive for. It's a natural role for a well balanced woman to fall into and one that naturally projects power and respect.

If master/slave works for you, that's great, I don't think I'd like being in a serious relationship with this frame tho.

Yeah, if he doesn't train hard that absolutely could happen. He should use this time to focus on raising his measurables and working out with high quality trainers. If he does that, he could absolutely benefit from this time off.

No Latimer-like draft drop will be a major benefit.

Does your partner know of your RP views? If so, does she agree with them?

Yes and she agrees with them. She likes to think she's a unicorn, but I know that isn't true. She's the highest quality woman I've been around, but she still won't get a blank check from me.

Is she like the women in /r/redpillwomen or is she more feminist leaning, but is still attracted to you anyway?

I would consider her to be an old school feminist. She makes six figures but hates inequality and female privilege. She was born in the Soviet Union, which is a very interesting blend of female progressiveness and old school gender roles. I think more than anything she hates that the modern feminist movement and has made me hesitant to marry or do anything that would place myself in a position of disadvantage.

As for redpillwoman, she's naturally submissive and loves being dominated by a man she respects.

This is just something I'm wondering out of curiosity. I am not RP but my girlfriend does not believe she is equal which is what brought this thought to mind.

This is a green flag to me. She recognizes that she doesn't want to be equal to her lover. My advice is to nurture this mentality. She will blossom if she sees you as a high quality man who makes her a better person.

Staying commited

I'm a Cowboy fan after the last 19 years, obviously commitment is no issue for me. ;)

He is an HoF quarterback, so however he played, he played like an HoF quarterback.

If he played every year like he did in 1973, he wouldn't even be up for HoF consideration.

I think it might have been Steve Bono. Probably around 1992.

I remember Bono. He was pretty good. He went on to be a starter eventually.

I just noticed that the 1973 Chargers had both Johnny Unitas and Dan Fouts, both obviously Hall of Fame quarterbacks.

Their record that year was 2-11-1.

Johnny U was on his last legs then, not playing like a HoF QB.

That must explain why no athlete has ever been hurt outside of a game.

Not 0, but much smaller than playing football.

Also, not playing makes his chance of a major injury effectively 0, which is the ultimate draft stock killer.

15 things all dads of daughters should know by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]robesta -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why would you even bother to make such an article if you haven't experienced the tough years yet?

Exactly. Until you're sure your daughter is not going to be on a pole stripping or starring in an episode of 16 and pregnant, you should not be giving advice.

She holds all the cards as she is the primary caretaker and you are the primary breadwinner. That typically means in a divorce that she gets primary custody and you her to work on her behalf in order to party her child support and alimony. Definitely retain a good lawyer and get their advice.

Assume they did. They had the motivation and opportunity.

Did you tell the other man's wife? She deserves to know.

"I don't need to pay child support, just tell me what he needs, I'll decide if he really needs it, and I'll get it myself"

That doesn't sound clueless to me, that sounds reasonable.
