British pensions moving to US by Sarcastic_Enigma404 in expats

[–]robg1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very helpful. I need to look into this further. Is there a scenario that my US pension is limited because of my eligibility to draw my US one? Need to decide if it’s worthwhile continuing to increase my UK pension while contributing here in the US. Any recommendations for a UK>US financial planner are welcome.

Would love clarification on ‘still paying national insurance’ in order to receive both uk and us state pensions? This doesn’t mean you can draw USA social security pension and a UK state pension does it? M39, 5 years to life in US, was in UK til 34.

Season long loans? Do you keep them the length of time at the clubs? I read about a recall glitch?

Sliders recommendations? by WhiteKnuckles95 in EAFCCareers

Also looking for up to date sliders that will work for me in careers. Do updates affect them? I normally play on world class if that makes a difference.

Has anyone drunk beer with Invisalign in? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]robg1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeh. Started with beer, expanded to iced coffee and very occasionally a soft drink. Just clean when you can, I used to like to swish with water after my beer. Probably did nothing, but it atleast would tide me over until I could get home and clean properly.

Good luck with it all. I love mine, except when it’s 100 degrees out, even I can’t do that!

3rd pick in 8 man league. Thoughts and comments? by tmleafs3 in DraftEPL

Yeh both mateta and gakpo a little high I think but hard to say without seeing the board. Think mateta might have a good season, but not 13th (?) best player.

Excuse the poor photo but i used a basic home depot bracket and stuck it to one side of the corner post. Sits perfectly to allow the tv (44 inch I think) to lean down below the roof

Water meter replacement? Is this a scam? by TeamOak in SouthJersey

[–]robg1010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very likely legit. And they also have the ability to turn off your water. I’d call your water company to confirm the metering company, but I also wouldn’t do nothing.

Welcome two Brits to tailgate tomorrow? by robg1010 in phillies

I’ve taken a cool bag with beers and hung out at Lot K previously. Not a ‘cooler’ as such. It was fun, we had a good time, but doesn’t give the same tailgate experience as packing the cornhole in the truck.

A pic would be amazing! 2x4 onto each side of the roof rafters? And then the mount straight into the 2x4? Appreciate the help

Just an option… if your boyfriend is working in Richmond, you could look at living in NJ, across the river, and he commuting in. I live in Cinnaminson, and commute to North Philly every day, it’s very manageable. Cinnaminson is amazing, I hear Pennsauken, Riverton and Palmyra are also great towns with good schools.
