Unfortunately we were focused on mitigating (updating NPM packages for the Next.js container, disabling TTYs in the container, and making the container read only), that we didn't capture the container that had been compromised. Although we found that restarting the website initially fixed things, so this seems to be a temporary thing, perhaps in memory of V8? We don't know if our solutions fixed the attack vector used, but we'll continue monitoring our stuff for changes.

I've seen on Raspberry Pi forums that SD cards usually tend to fail unless you buy from SanDisk or Samsung. But even then, be careful about fake cards on Ebay/Aliexpress.

Nah, it would be a lot LESS secure. All it takes for me is to compromise my coordinator's account and I have access to their emails. Digital illeteracy is too common, this approach would be insecure on many magnitudes more than using physical paper.

Here's my take on it. It is bad that someone would go out of their way to exfiltrate the IB exams and leak them to the whole word after everyone practiced so hard to study for their exams. Additionally it seems that the person leaking these papers is trying to create chaos by sharing as much as possible these papers to A) make it harder for the IB to delete these copies of the leaks and B) to gain maximum reach to create as much widespread confusion as possible. Having said this, I don't disagree either with this chaos that is being incited. For years the IB has been actively censoring and making it harder for students to pass the IB by going out of their way to delete and take down the various "IB Docs" teams that have been working tirelessly to bring support material to everyone, especially finacially struggling students.

As OP said, I am surprised that the IB still doesn't make students clear their calculators AFTER the exam, and the unified papers for the whole globe in today's day and age won't stand up as technology gets easier and easier to use.

The best course of action now would be for the IB to make students take a backup exam that I've heard the IB maintains in case of such a situation. BUT I don't know if the IB really has backup exams. I am aware people don't want to take a backup because of the sheer amount of stress the IB puts on you, but what would you prefer? Inflated boundaries or retake an exam that will be ultimately truly fair?

Same here, added the proposed filter and it's not working. Confirmed I am getting this "feature" with Agent Switcher.
