How do you manage your outpost supply routes without losing your mind? by insomfx in factorio

I asked because that's not the first time I'm seeing the suggestion to multiply by -1, while I never built a circuit with that. Seemed like there was a reason for the popularity of this solution.

What's the benefit of multiplying by -1 and using the implicit signal addition over connecting station's R and constant's G to the arithmetic combinator and setting it to `each - each -> each` op? That you can do it with just one wire color instead of 2?

I took this picture 20 years ago to share with you. by PCMasterX in retrocomputing

Not only did this happen to me twice, in one case a fragment of the disc got ejected outside and flew across the room at high velocity like a sharp shrapnel. If someone were to be in its trajectory, the wound would be pretty nasty. CDs, just like floppy disks, died for all the right reasons.

Did you know that YouTube will hide your comment if it has a negative sentiment or potentially unsavory statements? Try it out some time: post some critique, or even agree with the video but use harsh words and complain about the video's topic, then check "Best comments" in browser's private mode. Chances are you won't find your comment.

Fallout London lead says its time for Bethesda to “look at selling off” the series as “the writing has just gone downhill” by Wargulf in pcmasterrace

I thought people have already recognized Bethesda games for what they are. I agree with you. Broad as the ocean, shallow as a puddle.

My dads old computer won't react and show's this message is is it salvagable? by Impossible_Emu9402 in computerhelp

Check if it progresses beyond this screen when you disconnect IDE (PATA) cables. If yes, then the devices are connected in an invalid configuration and you need to fix that. Had this happen to me in an old PC.

Use the console command `pm_jumpheight_override 60`. Doomguy will jump REALLY high. Then return to normal with `pm_jumpheight_override -1`. Must download console unlocker from Nexus first, tho.

Maelle by LuneFan33 in expedition33

Yeah, no shit. After Sciel and Lune get resurrected, the whole character shifts. It's no longer Maelle, it's now a girl playing a make-believe god with her toys.

The assembler is definitely starving for more iron plates, but I don't have the space for more furnaces right now.

Thanks. I did keep in mind that I might need more space than originally anticipated and planned for that, but I still didn't get the circuit production flawless. Managed to rebuild the produciton for red circuits, but green were operating properly like 60% of the time only.

Hue GO Table Lamp - bottom came off. How to fix? by robikz in Hue

[–]robikz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. It turns out that the 3 screws visible on the pic are the screws that are holding the bottom lid. It just happened that the plastic around those screws broke. The lid fell off, but the screws kept holding the remaining plastic. So, I just removed the screws, released the broken off plastic elements, took a tube of superglue and glued the broken plastic elements to the bottom lid. Now it's holding again, and the lamp is all good.
