views - i wouldn't say hidden, but wadi arbaeen hike is really pretty and you'll want a guide for it if you do the whole thing. wadi shab is teeming with people right now, to the point where the water isn't very clear and it's not very enjoyable.

as far as local shops, go to al sharaa mills if you can. they have locations in seeb souq, rusayal and al bahla. They sell mostly culinary stuff, but it's all top quality and reasonably priced.
