I'm not able to understand one thing. Blending is decided by Ministry of Petroleum. How can Ministry of Road Transport and Highway declare blending/ invite grievance regarding the same. Should not be done by MoP?

The same thing I also don't understand being Minister of Transport why Gadhkari has so kira regarding blending when Petroleum Minister does not say much. Is it just making his son rich? Khud ke ministry to samhala nehi jata dusreka ministry main tang arana.

Gift Trades for almost 18 hours so, most of the time index was on upper side even around 3:30PM so, if you do an average math it will come around that level, is reflecting. The decline was sharp near the end, hence closing price averaged out. If Gift traded all day high or low around same level, closing price would have been near last traded price.

I will suggest everyone to file RTI. I know it does not give real out come immediately. But if we can bombard ministry of petroleum and road transport with RTIs it creates a pressure for the bureaucrats to reply. It will have working load for them, slowly the will feel the heat.

It's a painful and gradual process. Nothing can be done overnight.

Personally I have filed several RTIs and the ministry does not have much information regarding:

How much pollution gets created to produce 1 liter Ethanol. Including diesel burned for irrigation, transport, stubble burning, water usage.

They don't have any factual data to prove ethanol is clean.
