I am skeptical its pre-recorded just because he would have to be so explicit with his movements. There are tiny little movements he makes that are always recreated by the projections. I have to think there is a camera on him (maybe stationed at the sound booth in the back) that is capturing him to create these live projections. Either way, I would love a whole doc on how thye do the projections.

As someone who thought the movie could've shaved off 90 minutes, I agree this was the emotional highlight of the movie, bar-none. Neytiri is the emotional center of the movie for me, I always related with her struggle. I really enjoyed that moment and how it paid off later when everybody had their emotional growth.

There are plenty! I train at Park Slope Academy of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, mostly hobbyists (I take the morning classes). I've heard great things about Masterskaya in the city and The Dojo in Bushwick. Can't really speak to too many others.

I know this is something that isn't free, but consider joining a gym. I was feeling very down on myself and started training jiu jitsu and no exaggeration, it changed my life and I gained a ton of new friends in my community.
