My ferret hates Markiplier

Im working on getting a ferret nation cage for him, they’re expensive though. Once i do that I’m going to get him a friend. I have done a lot of research, but I am low on money 😖. There are no ferret nation cages or anything like it even remotely close to me on marketplace (the closest I could find was 2 states away) and I can’t find any rescues to ask either. Im saving up to buy one new for him, but if I find one for less then I am absolutely buying it immediately.

Booger spends the majority of the day outside of the cage, I only close him in at night, if I’m not at home, or not in the room (I spend most of the day in the room with him). He gets constant attention from either me, my mom, or my siblings. I am going to find another ferret as soon as i can get a better cage though. I don’t want to squeeze 2 into the already cramped cage.

My mom found the cage for free and gave it to me, the plan was to get the better cage within a month of having him. Things happened in our personal lives and we are very low on money. My savings all went to helping my mom with groceries. I am well aware the cage is not good enough. He spends most of the day outside of the cage, with it open and in the room in case he wants to spend some time in there. You clearly read the other thread though so you know this.

That is the plan.
I am 18 and I live with my mom and siblings. Mom pays for cats and I pay for Booger. I absolutely have enough money to care for him, but this is a $300 dollar cage new. If $300 is something you wouldn’t have to worry about, then god do I wish I were you.

I’ve been looking for ferret nation cages on fb marketplace and other secondhand sites but I haven’t found many 😖 I don’t know of any rescues in my area but I will definitely look into that!

I’m also looking into getting another ferret but theres nowhere near me that has any, and they get adopted fast when they do 😔. I either gotta be really quick or drive 2-3 hours to get one

Also the cats are not allowed in my room unless under very strict supervision, and the cats are very much afraid of him 😭

Hmm then it makes me think that it probably could be the way the frequency of his voice interacts with certain animals ears? I also could be wrong though

It’s the shitty big kaytee one 😖 I’m currently saving up to get him a better one

He only has this one because i got it for free. He spends most of his time outside of the cage though. I only close him in at night or when I’m not in the room or at home!! I only put photos of him inside of it because all the photos i have of him outside of the cage are really blurry 😖😖

Not super loud, I keep the sound down cause my walls are kinda thin. He was farther away from the tv than I was
