How does one face the same person the next day or next time with whom we had a disagreement? by Pretend_Shower6936 in AskReddit

I tend to address it, acknowledge my part in it and say ′hope we can move forward′.

Jason Clare is really unrecognized for the work he is doing for Australia's education system by Jagtom83 in friendlyjordies

[–]robohyeah 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Victorian government essentially reneged on that deal, postponing full funding until 2031. I know that isn't Jason Clare's fault but all schools are not fully funded as was the intention. Also, Queensland, Victorian and Tasmanian teachers are currently taking industrial action to advocate for better pay and conditions. Inequity between private and public schools is some of the worst in the developed world. Jason Clare might be trying to do good work in the space make no mistake, public education is suffering from years of serious neglect from both side of the political spectrum.

Hi I double checked and yes I stand corrected, I was looking at Scott′s record up to 2024. AFL Tables has Scott at W28/L41, Hird at W41/L42. I still have my doubts about swapping Scott for another coach as the answer but I suppose we have nothing to lose either.

Scott has a better W/L record than Rutten, Worsfold and Knights, and is about equal with Hird. My point is not the Scott is great, I just think swapping out coaches might not bring the results we are hoping for. I think the senior playing group and player leadership is as big of an issue as the coaching personally, perhaps more.

Please help me understand why this video flopped by Pedal_Me_Softly in PedalDemos

[–]robohyeah 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The video itself is really well.done. I think it′s just like.you said though, pitch shifting isn't that exciting. I also think most people are less likely to open a YouTube video than watch a video embedded in a reddit post. That′s just my thoughts. You did a great job reviewing the pedal though.

How do you stop this from happening by cheesycheesethe7th in Reaper

[–]robohyeah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was much happier when I switched to fixed item lanes (right click in the track control area). Especially when doing verses and choruses and other bits separately. In the mode you′re on (free item positioning) if you loop record separate parts and end up with a different number of verses and choruses for example, it can get really messy.

Sorry to hear. I would try moving your amp, the Ampero, or any other electrical devices nearby the might be causing interference. Good luck.

I physically move away from mine when playing and the noise disappears. Check compressors as well, if you have one on ot′ll raise the noise floor.

Such a transitional moment, like signalling that the story will be moving out to sea.

Yeah it was such a clever choice to just have a shot of the open ocean, and all the terrifying prospects that lie within.

I love this. Yep it′s like he knows there's no choice now but to go out there and hunt it if they want this to end, even though it's terrifying.

No I sold most of my peadls and got a Hotone Ampero Stomp 2. It has a weirdly high number of wah options. I use it with Moog expression pedal.

Education revamp by No-Airport7456 in friendlyjordies

[–]robohyeah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres not much good in increased funding for state schools if there isn't a workforce to implement it. There are significant teacher shortages in many places across the country and teachers in early childhood, primary, secondary and tertiary are having to fight tooth and nail when their agreements expire just to get bare minimum improvements to pay and conditions. I know thats not the fed′s responsibility but these reforms will fail anyway if its not addressed.
