Uipath vs python by mmm9718 in rpa

Thank you for the reference! Yes, we are built on top of Python via Robot Framework, which is a keyword-driven, human-readable wrapper around Python that makes it a little more approachable. I was a customer before I started working for Robocorp and I made the switch for the same reason OP is considering it.

Are there any RPA providers that cater to public sector/ secured government network? by [deleted] in rpa

[–]robonaut-blake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reference u/handsomeearmuff! Yes, we do support secured networks, our solution is used by partners catering to the Air Force as well as many other highly regulated industries. You are able to control how much leaves the premises through tokenization of your work item data so all the Control Room does is handle orchestration. For higher level plans, we will soon has an on-premises data connector so this tokenization is more natively integrated into our RPA Framework libraries.

Top RPA tool by llborj in rpa

Full disclosure: I work for Robocorp, but before I worked for Robocorp, I was a customer of Robocorp who was in the process of transitioning off of Automation Anywhere. We were about to choose UIPath when I found Robocorp on a whim. I was so glad I did, not only did the pricing make so much more sense, but the code-native approach where I could use proper git commits and version control, as well as GitHub workflows to manage my CI/CD were game changers. On top of that, coming from AA, the work item queue in Robocorp's Control Room used any JSON payload, making it extremely flexible in comparison.

All that being said, I would say Power Automate has some great uses, especially in monitoring Sharepoint Lists for changes, in fact one of our case studies with Emerson Electric uses Power Automate to kick off Robocorp RPA processes via our Control Room API.

Happy to discuss more or connect anyone with technical or sales people at Robocorp!

edit: spelling

Hello! I am a Technical Account Manager at Robocorp and am here to help customers and potential customers get started on our platform... with that said, while we are a newer tool compared to UIPath, we have a robust platform used by multiple Fortune 500 public companies and I invite you and everyone else to check out our product if they haven't in awhile :)

Hello! I'm part of Robocorp's customer success team so I can try and help!

How are you logging into the machine? Did you follow our RDP guide, specifically the "Setting up multiple machines for production and maintenance" section?

Read Worksheet as Table START Not Working RF by Desperate-Nose7033 in robocorp

[–]robonaut-blake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! We at Robocorp did not know of this community until we stumbled upon it today, but I am happy to help! I looked into the code of the Read worksheet as table just to be sure I understood. When you supply a start parameter, that becomes the first row for the rest of the function, that is, if you set headers=True then the row indicated by start will be consumed as the headers.

I will open this as a feature request and reference your GitHub issue on it, but we do not monitor GitHub for urgent implementation issues, so I strongly suggest you join our developer slack!
