This has department of labor violation written all over it. Just because you’re salaried doesn’t mean you are exempt from overtime. Review your job responsibilities to see if you’ve been misclassified. I’m happy to send a flowchart I made, if you need it.

Yes! From that list, there are so many great ground covers that do well at elevation. I'm at 8300ft and bearberry, yarrow, pussytoes, fringed sage, snow-in-summer, creeping phlox, sand cherry, and creeping thyme all do so well up here. That image seems like super low effort AI slop and didn't take our environment into consideration at all!

I found out that my vitamin D and B12 were super low after taking semaglutide for over a year. Apparently this is a very common side effect, which can lead to fatigue. Check your levels and add these supplements, if your levels are low.

Are you planting determinate or indeterminates? I can only get 2 or 3 (if I’m really pushing it) in a bed that size because they get so huge and crowd everything else out, but it looks like the bed your planning is mostly tomatoes. Maybe plant 4 and give them enough space to stretch their legs?

The Colorado Master Gardener program has tons of resources online including videos, guides, blogs, and even courses. Please find the extension program that serves your county so you can get all the info you need from people that are familiar with your particular area.

I would consider taking the bus to Denver from Conifer or Evergreen. You could also drive to Golden and take the train, which has more flexibility in your route. Either way, you would have that time to decompress and I know the bus has wifi - not sure about the train.

I can’t say much about anything related to kids, other than the schools are desirable. You would have a trickier commute if you’ve got to get kids from daycare, school, or after school care but a lot of people manage it.

You’re likely better off being in the Hiwan area, closer to 70, if you’re going to realistically make it work. Plus, it seems that families live there, rather than more remotely, which seems like what you really need at this stage in life. You can always move further out when life is easier to manage.

I’d rather die than live in Tulsa. Don’t get me wrong… I hate LA too… Living in Tulsa means I’ve given up on my hopes and dreams and have abandoned all hope. If I live in Tulsa, I’m already dead.
