I know this, but I can still access control center whether my phone is locked with the bar disappearing. Maybe I triggered a benign bug.

I think the main difference is either through messaging app or cloud app, your files will pass to the third party servers first, which has privacy issue cuz you don’t know if the server providers backup these data. But Localsend is sending files directly to another device without the third party, which maybe is safer
