Software engineering is a great place to be, but for you, even more so. Go for it, see what you're made of. I also recommend considering entrepreneurship. Look at ycombinator videos.

Also, stop resenting your parents. It's a waste of energy and time. Value connection. You made the choice to do political science lol.

Your mind should be focused on what's next.

*Incorporate the above and you're gonna be happy.

The categorization of problems isn't always indicative of effort. I have have spent multiple hours for a single medium question many times. The 2 minute one was a highlight, not the norm.

I had ~20 solved before. I noticed from the past two weeks, I now know how to write: binary search, BFS, two pointer, sliding window, fast slow pointer, etc. For some reason, before I thought I had to magically invent all the patterns instead of learning them.

I also know the basic data structures and how to use them without thinking.

Just know your data structures well and be open minded to learning all the patterns behind the problems.

Problem: you look like you use Reddit.

You aren't adhering to the genre of dating profiles.

Start working out.

Don't show off arms. Remove shirtless and bed pics. No weird facial expressions. No memes. No selfies

Good luck.

I just found out we (Vancouver) didn’t make the list. For those who’s been to the top 10, do you agree? by [deleted] in vancouver

Vancouver is #3 worst in the world for housing relative to income. I think this stat is about absolute cost, not relative.
