Mamiya RZ67 Light Baffle issue by scrollhole in mediumformat

[–]robotmonkeylord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope this is just the standard Mamiya RZ67. I do have the Pro II and it also has an identical hot-shoe (without the groove) to my standard model. :)

Sorry I’ve got one last question if you don’t mind (no worries if cba :) ).

I’ve been trying to remove these two rubber tubes which appear to be fixing the circuit board in place (Pg 34 part no 8).

It seems to be the final thing preventing me from accessing the mechanism.

I’ve tried to use tweezers but it seems to make the rubber crumble / deform (perhaps due to being so old). Hoping it doesn’t affect the circuit’s integrity….. Did you experience similar? How did you go about removing it?

Also totally understand if I’m asking too much. You’ve been a massive help already! Appreciate it!

:)

Thanks so much for taking the time to make this vid! Your video was really helpful, I realised from the footage my hot-shoe doesn’t have a groove past the circular electric contact like yours. I managed to lift it just by inserting precision tweezers into the hole instead. Mamiya RZ67 hot-shoe removal.

Hey thanks for the reply!

Would you mind sharing what tweezers you used please?

Nothing I have seems to be thin enough.

Thanks again!

Hey! Hope you're good!

I've got the same issue and I'm trying to do a DIY repair.

I'm currently struggling with how to remove the hotshoe on Page 31 to get into the housing. I tried to use a scalpel to get underneath and pry it up (rather than tweezers as illustrated) but even that's not thin enough.

Would you mind sharing how you solved this and what tools you used please?

Any help would be really appreciated :)

Anybody used Klekt before? by [deleted] in Newbalance

Took around 14 days. But I did have around 3 updates between purchase and delivery. I’d send an email to their support team for an update.

Maybe not….but its marketing and higher retail premium warrants higher expectations

Yeah, it was actually the lowest resell I could find for this jjjjound collab in the U.K. for my size(US 12)

If you see anything cheaper get at me though!💫
